Skin regeneration with LaseMD™

The LaseMD™ skincare procedure is what is known as a CDS programme. CDS stands for “Cosmeceutical Delivery System” and denotes a procedure in which specific active agents are introduced to the skin during a treatment. These so-called cosmeceuticals achieve much greater effects than conventional cosmetics because, instead of only treating the surface of the skin, they are introduced deeper into the tissue. This enables the skin to absorb a high concentration of active agents.

The LaseMD™ programme combines carefully selected active agents in ampoule form with ultra-modern laser systems. The treatment device creates fine laser micro-channels that allow active agents to be delivered directly into the skin. These fine channels close again on their own, while the cosmeceuticals get to work deep within the skin.

LaseMD™ laser treatment is suitable for use as a gentle anti-ageing measure, to prevent wrinkles and to improve a person’s overall complexion. It can also reduce impurities and UV damage as well as pigmented spots and scars. The treatment is also suitable for improving skin tone.

Here at the prevention-center in Zurich, we use the LaseMD™ method to treat the face and décolleté. However, it can also be used to treat other areas of the body. We would be happy to advise you personally on this.

In the LaseMD™ skincare programme, we offer a gentle and pain-reduced laser treatment that is as kind as possible to the skin. You should allow around an hour for a treatment session here at the prevention-center in Zurich. Before the treatment, we will apply an anaesthetic cream. Even after the treatment, you’ll hardly require any time to recover; however, a few very fine crusts will appear after two days. The gentle nature of this treatment means that no anaesthesia is required.

Another benefit of the LaseMD™ system is that you can continue the skincare programme at home. You take the rest of the ampoule with you and use it as part of your skincare routine. This allows you to support the treatment results even further.

Here in Zurich, we use four different combinations of active agents in our LaseMD™ treatments. We carefully select the active agents based on your individual skin type, problem areas and desired outcome. Our ampoules combine as few different substances as possible to avoid side effects and guarantee precise effects.

VC ampoule

The basis of the VC ampoule is vitamin C, a highly effective natural antioxidant. It rejuvenates and regenerates the skin by supporting healthy collagen structures. We also use this ampoule to counter skin damage caused by UV radiation.

VA ampoule

The VA ampoule contains vitamin A (retinoic acid) in concentrated form. This active agent naturally promotes rejuvenation of mature skin, eases acne scars and works to remedy large-pored skin.

TA ampoule

This ampoule contains tranexamic acid (TA), a substance that has been used to heal wounds for centuries. Tranexamic acid also has a welcome side effect: it brightens the skin and is therefore an effective treatment for pigmented spots.

RS ampoule

Resveratrol is the anti aging booster par excellence. The RS ampoule contains ultra-high-quality resveratrol, a substance with strong antioxidant effects that protects the skin against photo-ageing, UV damage and even skin cancer. We use resveratrol in combination with low-molecular hyaluronic acid in the RS ampoule.

Before LaseMD™ treatment, you’ll receive personal consultation from your skincare specialist at the prevention-center. Your practitioner will explain the treatment to you in detail and select a suitable ampoule together with you.

Once the LaseMD™ ampoule has been incubated for a short period, we administer the laser treatment. This takes just a few minutes and is largely painless. If you wish, we can apply an anaesthetic cream to numb the surface of your skin in the areas to be treated.

The laser device uses a magnetic tracking system that allows the treatment to be provided very quickly and precisely. After administering the ampoule, and depending on your desired results, we apply a LaseMD™ cream or mask to further support the treatment results. You then take the rest of the ampoule home with you and can use it as part of your skincare routine in the following weeks.

Depending on the desired results, we usually recommend around 5 sessions. Your practitioner will draw up an individual treatment plan in advance, tailored to your needs and problem areas.

Many of our customers notice an improvement in their complexion after just a few days. In the weeks following treatment, your skin will undergo intensive regeneration, further reinforcing the effects. Your skin will take on a fresher, more even complexion overall.

The duration of LaseMD™ treatment’s effects can vary from person to person. In general, you can expect your complexion to be improved for several months. Depending on your desired results, we would recommend repeat treatments at regular intervals.
