Further information
The PRP form of therapy originated from the use of the system in heart surgery, where fibrin glue and PRP separation were used to heal wounds at the time. Treatment with the body’s own platelet-rich plasma (PRP) proved to be innovative and forward-looking, which is why autologous blood therapy is becoming increasingly popular. The body’s own regeneration and healing powers are activated by the body’s own growth factors. In the meantime, there have been numerous innovations and innovations that have been tested and implemented at the prevention center in Zurich over the last decade. As a result, we can now offer our clients the most modern vampire lifting for regeneration and revitalization or wound healing.
At the prevention-center Zurich, we use the innovative vampire lifting method primarily to achieve skin rejuvenation through wrinkle injections and local volume enhancement. One of the special features of this procedure is that the filling material obtained from the patient’s own blood (unlike hyaluronic acid, for example) is 100% biological, endogenous and therefore particularly well tolerated. Injected plasma also effectively promotes cell renewal thanks to concentrated endogenous growth factors. Areas of the body that are well suited to a vampire lift include the face, back of the hands and décolleté. Occasionally, PRP autologous blood treatment is also used to stimulate hair growth.

Vampire Lift (PRP) - The miracle of wound healing
The PRP, which we obtain in Zurich from our clients’ own blood, has different mechanisms of action that have a positive effect on the appearance of the skin. The treatment makes use of our body’s natural healing processes and imitates them. In the event of an injury, the platelets and other components increasingly migrate to the affected area of the body and primarily ensure that the bleeding stops. Further processes then ensure that the tissue is repaired. The regenerative and healing effect of plasma is also used in aesthetic medicine, where vampire lifting in Zurich is used to revitalize skin cells. Increased collagen production builds up the connective tissue, blood circulation is stimulated, new blood vessels are formed and the skin is cleansed of inflammatory processes.
Before the vampire lift
Prior to a vampire lift in Zurich, a detailed consultation takes place on our premises. Based on the customer’s wishes, a preliminary treatment plan is drawn up during such a consultation. The customer also receives detailed information about the course of treatment and possible treatment opportunities and risks.
Treatment procedure Vampire Lift in Zurich
On individual request, the vampire lift in Zurich can be performed under short-term twilight sleep or with nitrous oxide, so that the procedure is completely pain-free.
At the beginning of the treatment, blood is first taken from the client’s arm vein – this step is also the reason why the procedure is sometimes referred to as a vampire lift. Platelet-rich plasma is then obtained by centrifuging the patient’s own blood. After appropriate preparation for around 20 minutes, the biological filling material is then injected into previously defined areas of the body. A few days after the treatment, only the positive effects of the procedure are usually visible. After around 4 weeks, the growth factors cause local cell renewal and smoothing of the skin from the inside.
Duration of the vampire lift
The sustainability of the vampire lifting treatment can vary depending on the client. However, as the growth factors contained in the blood plasma also have a positive effect on skin rejuvenation, the treatment results usually last longer than after wrinkle injections using filling materials such as hyaluronic acid. This means that the success of the treatment can remain with the customer for up to several years.
Vampire lifting: risks & side effects
The vampire lift is a comparatively low-risk procedure. Due to the application of the patient’s own blood, allergic reactions, for example, can be ruled out.
As with any medical procedure, possible side effects can never be completely ruled out. For example, it is possible that slight local swelling, redness or bruising may occur after treatment, but these usually disappear quickly.

Do you look tired, tired and aged? Do you want your skin to feel fresh, youthful and firm again, but you are skeptical about surgical procedures and materials that are foreign to the body? Then a vampire lift at our clinic in Zurich is just the thing for you!
Vampire lifting, a gentle and innovative therapy for skin rejuvenation using the patient’s own blood, has been used with great success at the prevention center for some time and, in contrast to wrinkle treatment with other filler materials, helps to achieve a rejuvenated appearance in the long term. The PRP method has been used in medicine since the mid-1990s to achieve faster healing of injuries. This method has proved particularly effective for sports injuries or arthritic conditions. The PRP method later found its way into aesthetic medicine and developed into a popular and safe therapy for non-surgical skin rejuvenation, regardless of the area (face, neck, décolleté, hands, etc.).
Advantages of a vampire lift
Although the duration of effect of this non-surgical procedure can vary depending on the client, the growth factors contained in the blood plasma mean that the vampire lift has a longer-lasting rejuvenating effect than other filling materials. Allergic reactions can also be ruled out, as the material is the body’s own.
Cost of a vampire lift in Zurich
The cost of a vampire lift in our clinic is CHF 500 per session.
Professionalism and state-of-the-art technology for PRP treatment
We obtain the body’s own blood platelets in our clinic using the latest technologies as part of a 20-minute process. The decisive factor for successful PRP therapy is the professional processing of the extracted material by maintaining the appropriate concentration and vitality of the growth factors. The systems we use to obtain PRP are very rare and are only used by professional institutes due to their complexity. Today, we use technically optimized successor models in our clinic so that we can achieve optimal therapeutic success for you with maximum concentrations of growth factors. Newer separation systems have recently made it possible to separate growth factors more easily and quickly while maintaining the same quality.
Frequently asked questions about vampire lifting (PRP)
General information on vampire lifting (PRP)
What is a vampire lift?
A vampire lift, also known as autologous blood therapy or PRP treatment, is a procedure to refresh the facial skin with the body’s own material. A small amount of the client’s own blood is taken and centrifuged to obtain the PRP. PRP means “platelet rich plasma” and is the platelet-rich part of the blood. PRP contains a very large amount of growth factors and proteins, which in turn has a very positive effect on the face. After the treatment, the face appears rejuvenated, refreshed and balanced.
What does a vampire lift do?
At the prevention center in Zurich, we use vampire lifting specifically for skin rejuvenation. The autologous blood material used stimulates the body’s own regeneration by stimulating the skin’s growth factors. After the treatment, the skin appears firmer, fresher and visibly rejuvenated. Vampire lifting therefore has a clearly positive effect on the skin structure and external appearance.
How often is PRP treatment recommended?
If we use PRP, we work with the maximum concentration of autologous blood and only need one session per year. We use a little more blood and then have around 1.5 – 2 milliliters of growth factors. An exception is the use of PRP for hair growth, in which case we recommend using it once a month.
Can PRP influence hair growth?
It has been discovered that the PRP contained in the patient’s own blood stimulates hair growth. It is therefore necessary to carry out the treatment on a monthly basis. This treatment is also preferred after hair transplants in order to maintain the result.
What are the risks of PRP therapy?
The risks and side effects of PRP therapy are limited. There may be temporary swelling, redness or small bruises around the injection sites. Allergic reactions are excluded due to the use of the body’s own material.

What do you need to consider before a vampire lift in Zurich?
There is relatively little for the client to consider before the vampire lift. The treatment can also be carried out during a lunch break. This form of treatment is not suitable for people suffering from anaemia and medication should not be taken before the PRP treatment or at least discussed with the practitioner.
How does autologous blood therapy work?
For the treatment, the blood is first drawn using a fine needle and then processed in a centrifuge. The prepared blood plasma can then be injected in concentrated form into the previously agreed points. The area to be treated can also be desensitized in advance with an anaesthetic cream. The treatment is completed after 45 – 60 minutes and the customer can cool the treatment area a little and is immediately fit for socializing again.
Aftercare of a vampire lift (PRP)
What do you need to consider after a vampire lift?
After the vampire lift in Zurich, the face should be cooled slightly and moisturized to meet the skin’s needs. It is best to avoid sun exposure, sauna and sport on the day of the treatment itself. No thermal treatments with the laser should be carried out for a week after the treatment.
When is the effect of PRP therapy visible?
Once the PRP has been injected, it begins to stimulate the body’s own regeneration and growth processes. The first positive effect is noticeable immediately after the treatment, but the full effect of the vampire lift unfolds over the next 3 months.
How long do the results last after a vampire lift?
How long the results of autologous blood therapy last varies from customer to customer and therefore cannot be determined in general terms. As the material used also stimulates the body’s own processes, the treatment result usually lasts beyond the time the autologous blood remains in the skin.
When will I be socially acceptable again after a vampire lift?
One advantage of the vampire lift is the short recovery time following the treatment. About 1 – 2 days after the vampire lift, our clients are ready for social life again.
